Arsenal receive key Gabriel Jesus boost ahead of Man City clash
Gabriel Jesus has suffered his share of injury and fitness issues all through the 2023/24 season for Arsenal. He has missed 16 matches so far because of injuries.
However, according to The Sun, the Brazilian forward is now confident that he can play an important role for Arsenal at the end-of-season run-in.
Jesus is now feeling much better after having worked on his fitness during the international break and is prepared to feature heavily in the Premier League and Champions League in the final few months of the campaign.
The 26-year-old has managed to impress Arsenal’s coaches with his sharpness in the training sessions, also encouraging those around him with his attitude, physicality and finishing.
Jesus is expected to be in the squad for the Man City game and could even be in the starting lineup, especially if Bukayo Saka fails to regain full fitness in time.
The Brazilian has made 26 appearances for Arsenal so far this season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in all competitions.
