Who is Jason Wilcox?
As a player, Wilcox was a left winger with over 300 appearances and even won the Premier League title with Blackburn Rovers in 1995.
The future sporting director also played for Leeds, Leicester City and Blackpool and won three England caps before retiring from football in 2006.
Wilcox then ventured into the administrative side of the game, becoming an Academy director at Manchester City during his 11-year spell at the club.
The 53-year-old specialist joined Southampton as director of football in the summer of 2023 following the club’s relegation to the Championship.
