LeBron James, JJ Redick launch new podcast ‘Mind The Game’
Today, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and former NBA player (and current ESPN analyst) JJ Redick launched a new podcast called “Mind the Game.”
The series centers around James and Redick discussing basketball-centric concepts, including the Xs and Os and the game within the game.
“Mind the Game” will try to break through the traditional setting of sports talk shows that typically center around subjective views and opinions. The series plans to delve deeper into the actual game of basketball.
For example, in the first episode, James and Redick discuss what makes a great basketball player and then delve into some of their favorite plays.
This new venture is a partnership between James’ and Redick’s production companies, Uninterrupted and ThreeFourTwo Productions. This show will post a new episode each week that’s roughly 45-60 minutes. It is available on YouTube and all podcast platforms.
On the first episode, Redick and James mentioned that they’ll have guests join them on the podcast at some point going forward.
