Napoli president ‘promises his players €10m bonus’ if they beat Barca
Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, ‘has promised the team a €10m bonus’ if they qualify for the 2025 Club World Cup, according to Corriere dello Sport’s Fabio Mandarini.
This can only be done by eliminating Barcelona from the Champions League, so Tuesday’s clash should serve as a huge boost for the reigning Serie A champions.

Apart from that bonus, Napoli will also receive €10.6m by UEFA if they advance to the quarterfinals. Winning the Barca tie means they get €20.6m in total. Wow.
Barcelona, in turn, have to reach the Champions League quarterfinals to fulfill this season’s board expectations set at the beginning of the campaign.
It’s 1-1 after the first leg. The second one will take place on Tuesday, March 12.
